I’m a UK based artist focusing on capturing moments of tension from ambiguous or ambivalent situations.

I focus on the ambivalence/ambiguity found in life because I believe in capturing moments of just before a choice. The state of mixed feelings or inexactness is present in much of daily life, should I buy this product or that product, and we all frequently have to make decisions based on little information. This creates small and large moments of tension leading up to the choice; and I focus on this tension through my art.

I’m also a life-long learner. I love learning new things across almost all subjects. You can often find me with my head in a new book or article as well as getting my hands dirty with new ways to create art. This means my art is across a spectrum of mediums, including paintings, drawings, paper mache and clay. I’m forever learning more and applying this to create art in new and interesting ways.
